If you are a fan of classic Science Fiction, then you know that people in 1950 had some pretty amazing predictions about what life would be link in the year 2000. This article is apparently a reprint of an article written in 1950. The author tried to take a conservative guess as to what life in the year 2000(+) would be like. His results are often humorous (for example, housewives simply hosing down the living room on cleaning day), but are also often pretty close to our reality (examples include videoconferencing and drug manufacturing).
