It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Sun has been through a rollercoaster week this week. First, they reach a semi-surprise settlement with the vile Microsoft. M$ agreed to settle with Sun for about $1.9 billion. But before the celebrations could really start, Sun announced that they will be laying off about 3,300 employees. Apparently, none of that almost $2 billion was earmarked to help save jobs.
