Only from the minds of Micro$oft

Only Microsoft would be able to come up with this one: Instead of dedicating resources to patching older versions of Outlook and Outlook Express to keep viruses from easily spreading, Microsoft has instead offered a $250,000 bounty for information leading to the arrest of the creator of the MyDoom viruses. Whether or not the bounty leads to the arrest of the virus writer is immaterial. Microsoft needs to fix their email clients. Outlook and Outlook Express simply make it too easy for these types of viruses to propogate throughout the internet.

If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express, I strongly recommend you switch to something else. I personally use Mozilla Thunderbird, but there are a number of other free email clients available for Windows.
