This story is the flip side of a story I commented on a few weeks ago. The city of Denver will soon be fining homeowners who don’t mow their lawns. Apparently there are a lot of people in the metro area who gave up mowing their lawns since lawns weren’t growing all that well because of the heat. Well, the heat has abated and we’ve had a fair amount of rain recently. Lawns have responded to this by growing at a faster-than-normal rate.
But the strange thing about this story is that fines will be given out for lawns that are higher than six inches. I would think it would be quite easy to tell if your grass is more than six inches tall…
