I swear, the Catholic Church apperently does not want me to be a member. Just when I think that things in the church are getting better, the church goes and does something stupid. This time around, the Church ticked me off with their proclamation that politicians must oppose gay-marriage laws. I think it is bad enough that there are a bunch of intolerant people in the world. We don’t need a religious organization with as much influence as the Catholic church adding to this hate and intolerance. I swear, this blatant call for discrimination and intolerance by the Catholic church is enough to make me not want to go back.
I’ll have to think about this for a few days. I may no longer be Catholic because of the church’s stance on this issue.
