What do those Readiness signs from the Dept. of Homeland Security mean?

Wonder what the Department of Homeland Security has been up to? One of their projects is Ready.gov, a website that theoretically gives advice on what to do in the case of a terrorist attack. They are going for a “Duck and Cover” campaign, much like what was used in the height of the Cold War to help people feel better about impending death during a nuclear attack.

These two websites give a more humorous look at the symbols created for Ready.gov.
