I know how to fix Social Security! Let’s stop losing hundreds of millions of dollars in Iraq! “The latest indication of that came Wednesday when investigators released a report saying $96.6 million in cash could not be properly accounted for. The total included more than $7 million that was simply gone, according to the report from the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction.”
Anyone who thinks that $100 million is not a lot of money deserves to be slapped. This is 100 million taxpayer dollars that has just been wasted. We could’ve put this into the Social Security trust fund to help shore it up. We could’ve put this into education to help pay for No Child Left Behind. But no, we send it to the financial black hole that is Iraq.
