Thank god I don’t live in Texas

Well, it’s nice to see that the school system in Texas is open-minded: The Texas State Board of Education has approved updated health textbooks which specifically define marriage as a union of a woman and a man.

“Board member Terri Leo said some middle- and high-school health books contain ‘asexual stealth phrases’ that disregard a state ban on recognizing same-sex civil unions. Leo wanted language like ‘individuals who marry’ changed to ‘husbands and wives.'”
